Bunnies, Bunnies everywhere!!

These are two of Cooper's 2009 Easter bunny pictures made at Shoot to Finish a week ago.

If you look below at the picture made in 2006 and compare it to this year, you can really tell how much Cooper has grown!! But he STILL did not want those rabbits in his lap....he was close enough just being beside them!!

You still have an opportunity to have your child's picture made with the rabbits, but this is the last week (Saturday is the last day)! You can call 662-205-2108 or e-mail info@stfstudio.biz to make your appointment. Don't forget to mention "The Hughes Family" or "Cooper" whenever you make your appointment (or whenever you are there) so that we receive the Le Bonheur donation to go toward our goal for "A Family Affair". Cooper / Woody

This post isn't really about "A Family Affair", but I thought the picture of Cooper in his Woody costume was just too cute not to post! Too bad we didn't have this costume back in January for his birthday party....he would have definitely been wearing it that day!! (Thanks, Melodie!)

There are 5 weeks left of fundraising for Le Bonheur through "A Family Affair". (There....now the post is about raising some money!! ha!)

Mexican anyone??!!??

Que' pasa? (That means "what's happening?" for those of you that didn't take Spanish.)

We love Mexican food....and Cooper loves to wear a sombrero!! This picture was taken Sunday, March 15th, at Mi Pueblo in Hernando, MS.

Be on the lookout at the following great Mexican restaurants.....Margaritas Grill, Las Margaritas, or La Carreta in Tupelo....any of the Mi Pueblo restaurants in New Albany, Pontotoc, Ripley, Olive Branch, Southaven, Horn Lake, or Hernando....or Mi Toro in Amory. If you dine in any of these restaurants, you will probably see a Le Bonheur change cannister in these places to help raise money for "A Family Affair". And remember that ALL of the money collected goes directly to Le Bonheur (and may help us win the competition!).

The Easter Bunnies are Coming.....

Wouldn't it be neat to have your child's picture made with live bunnies??!!?? Here is your chance!!

March 19 - April 4, 2009 at Shoot to Finish Studios in Saltillo, MS is your opportunity to have an Easter portrait made with live bunnies. If you mention that you want to do this to benefit "A Family Affair" and Cooper's Name (or The Hughes Family), the $20 session fee and a portion of the profits made will be donated to Le Bonheur (and to our total of money we are collecting in the fundraising campaign).

This picture of Cooper was made Easter 2006 with the live bunnies. He wasn't so sure about those little jumpy critters, but we absolutely love our memory with our picture.

"A Family Affair" Fundraising Campaign for Le Bonheur

Here’s the scoop…..Russell, Cooper and I are involved in a fundraising campaign for Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital in Memphis, TN. This is a friendly contest between 4 families in Northeast Mississippi to see which family can raise the most money for the hospital. The contest lasts for 8 weeks…..and we are already into week 2!!

Most of you know that after Cooper was born, he was a patient at Le Bonheur from January through October 2004 fighting to get well enough to come home. Because of the great treatment he received at Le Bonheur enabling him to live a healthy life, we feel committed to raise money to help support the new hospital that is being built and to insure that the most up-to-date services and equipment are available for children in need. And for us, too….Cooper still receives care from multiple specialties at Le Bonheur…..and we only want the best for him!!
